There have been SEVERAL questions asking if the Fireworks Celebration event on Friday, July 3rd will go on with the possibility of rain. We'll address this for now so we can prevent the numerous questions about this. There is no need to contact us via DM.

First and foremost, the Appleton American Legion Post 38 HAS NO CONTROL over this aspect. We are in partnership with the City of Appleton. They have safety plans in place and will implement such as required. The Appleton Parks and Recreation Department is monitoring the situation and will publish more as we are closer to the event.

Currently, there is NO "rain date" for the fireworks. Just as weather is fluid and changes, so too will the City of Appleton adjust and change plans if needed.

Ultimately, this is the City's decision. Please stay tuned to our Facebook page and to our website where updates will be published!

Thank you for your understanding.
